21. pull out
1）拔出，取出（+of…）
2）（火車(chē)等）駛離（車(chē)站）
he pulled out a gun. 他掏出一支槍
i arrived as the last train was pulling out. 我到達(dá)時(shí)，末班列車(chē)剛剛開(kāi)出。
22. pull down 拆毀
the cinema she used to visit had been pulled down. 她常去的那家電影院已經(jīng)拆除了。
23. pull up （使車(chē)輛）停下

have you got the hang of driving a car? 你掌握開(kāi)車(chē)的竅門(mén)的了嗎？

32. break out （火災(zāi)、戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)等）爆發(fā)
world war ii broke out in 1939. 第二次世界大戰(zhàn)是1939年爆發(fā)的。
33. come about 發(fā)生
（是不及物動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ)，無(wú)被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)） how did it come about that you got lost? 你怎么會(huì)迷路了呢？
34. watch out (for…) 當(dāng)心，提防
you’ll be cheated if you don’t watch out. 如果你不當(dāng)心，就會(huì)上當(dāng)受騙。
watch out for cars when you cross the road. 過(guò)馬路時(shí)要當(dāng)心車(chē)輛。
35. 倍數(shù)的表達(dá)方法：
1）a is + 倍數(shù) + as + adj./ adv. + as b
“a 是b的……倍”
